During our conversation with youth activists from Denver and Flint, recent graduate and youth leader Eeshyia King stated that “I don’t consider myself an activist. I am actiVATED.” This important distinction guided our conversation with youth who are not “waiting their turn” to be seen and heard. Along with the student hosts of the Know Justice, Know Peace video podcast, we had an inspirational and motivational talk with important voices in the movement for educational justice.
